Aebutia, Asprilla or Attia? Which one is the right (or at least more likely) restoration of the first line of this fragmentary titulus operum publicorum?
In order to answer this question, it can’t be discarded the beginning of the third line, missing as well.
To discover the answer, check out my paper: Tomasi offprint CIL V 7345 in bargnesi–scuderi_paesaggio-esperienza-2012-no-pwd!
An unpublished funerary inscription, preserved in Alassio, on a private villa’s façade.
The stele bears the following text:
D(is) M(anibus) .
patronae b(ene) m(erenti).
Probably from Rome, it might have been brought to Liguria as part of an antiquity collection .
