A Hypotheses.org blog about Latin Epigraphy

"Siste, viator, et lege":"stop by, traveller, and read". This is how some Latin inscriptions addressed the people passing by them. Following their plea, I ask you to do the same and read my blog, virtually carved in the Hypotheses platform. The contents I make available here derive from my teaching and researching activities and the common thematic denominator is Latin epigraphy. My research interests encompass the epigraphical habit in Cisalpine Gaul, baths and bathing in Roman empire, ancient cosmetics and medicine, humanities computing applied to the study of the ancient world and digital epigraphy.

"Siste, viator, et lege": "fermati, viandante, e leggi".
